REGISTRATION & CHILDCARE
REGISTRATION & CHILDCARE INFORMATION
Both virtual and in-person registration are available for the 2026 EBF3 HADDS International conference.
Virtual
-
Virtual registration: $50 USD. Provides live online meeting access to all in-person lectures as well as any follow up information sent out to all attendees. Virtual attendance is via Zoom.
In-Person
-
All in-person registration options include light morning and afternoon snacks and beverages at NRI where the sessions are hosted, and boxed lunches at NRI on July 22 and 23th. There will likely be an evening group pizza party event or similar with food provided (TBC)

Individual in-person registration (single): $75 USD.

In-person family registration (up to 4 attendees): $150 USD

In-person family registration with childcare for up to 2 children ages 6 months - 17 years of age (group childcare provided on July 22-23, offered on-site at NRI, see below for additional details): $300 USD
Please note that the EBF3 HADDS Foundation is not involved in the scheduling of clinic appointments, and registration for the 2026 HADDS Conference does not include or confirm a clinic appointment. Clinic appointments are offered at the EBF3 HADDS Clinic on Friday, July 24, and these appointments are to be booked directly with The Bluebird Clinic. Call Makeb (pronounced Me-kah) Nelson at 832-822-1069 and ask to schedule in Dr. Chao's EBF3-related disorders clinic and the clinic staff will transfer you to a scheduler. Information on small group sessions with Dr. Chao and Arden Wheeler (Geneticist) will be shared at a later date.
Childcare Information
On-site childcare at the Jan and Dan Duncan Neurological Research Institute (where the conference takes place) is available on July 22 and 23 from 8 am - 5 pm. A group children’s program, offered by an outsourced company with qualified, screened, and experienced employees, is available for individuals aged 6 months through 17 years of age. The company providing this service is aware that many children in their care during the conference dates have HADDS and their staffing ratios have been increased for our neurodiverse population.
If you are interested in childcare, there is a question on the registration form where you can indicate the names and ages of the individuals who will be attending. When selecting your registration option at the end, please select the option for “registration with childcare”.

This spacious 2-room suite with 2 double beds and a view of the city or the pool offers a separate living area, complimentary WiFi, extra half bathroom and a 55-inch HDTV. Feel at home in this suite, designed to give you added comfort and convenience. Settle down in the living area and watch on-demand-movies. Stay on top of business at the workstation and keep up-to-date with complimentary WiFi.
Chill drinks in the mini-refrigerator and sip a freshly brewed coffee from the coffeemaker. This suite has two double Hilton Serenity beds and a range of refreshing bath amenities.
