HOUSTON, Texas  / January 26, 2020

The EBF3 HADDS Foundation (HADDS.org) celebrates its one-year anniversary with an announcement of an official HADDS Awareness Month annually each February. The Foundation was founded by three Texan families Ashley & Mark LeMaire, Kelly & Paul Mastin & Mallory & David Schindler that shared a passion for HADDS and wanted to ensure that the community and its providers, teachers and supporters had a centralized space to gain support and access materials on education, advocacy and research.

Though the Foundation's first year was meant to be a heavily focused on building a solid organizational foundation, much has been accomplished:

  • HADDS.org, the Foundation's website went live (June 2019)

  • Inaugural EBF3 HADDS International Conference (July 2019)

  • HADDS Shop went live (August 2019)

  • Plaid Awareness Ribbon adopted #HADDSPlaid (November 2019)

  • HADDS Donor Impact and #GivingTuesday first community fundraising campaign (December 2019)

  • Established an Awareness Month (January 2020) - See Details Below!

The first year of operation was lean in order to execute quickly on the establishing a solid base. As each year builds, so will the opportunity for community members to get involved in a more formal capacity such as social, fundraising and research committees.  Stay tuned for more information on this in the coming months.
