The Foundation Confirmed its 2020-2021 Board of Directors

Houston, TX (July 20, 2020): EBF3 HADDS Foundation, a nonprofit whose mission is to enhance the lives of people with HADDS through research, education, support and advocacy, announced today that it is expanding its Board of Directors. After being guided for a year under the direction of its founding families, the Board made a decision to expand its membership to help support its growing community. 

 

The new members were recognized in the HADDS community for their outstanding contributions through their advocacy, fundraising, and community engagement. The new members include Ivette Matias-Sepersaude, T’Mia Raynor, David Schindler, and Melissa Slick. In addition to adding members, the Board voted and new officers were elected. The 2020-2021 Board of Director’s officers include Mark LeMaire (President), Mallory Schindler (Vice-President), T’Mia Raynor (Secretary), and David Schindler (Treasurer). The Board of Directors meets monthly to oversee Foundation activities, communications, fundraising, finances, and official upcoming events. 

 

Mark LeMaire, President of the Foundation welcomed new members by saying “We are excited to have new members join our Board. Each individual brings unique skills and experience that will be assets to our growing organization.”

The EBF3 HADDS Foundation was created to promote awareness, research, and support for individuals and their families living with EBF3 HADD Syndrome, a genetic syndrome discovered in 2016.

 

The Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3).
